Review by hotel critic
Fitzherbert Regency encapsulates a blend of comfort and convenience, making it a solid choice for both leisurely retreats and practical stays. The friendly reception staff sets a welcoming tone, while housekeeping maintains a tidy environment-a must for any traveller, especially a beer enthusiast like myself who appreciates cleanliness. The location is ideal, with key attractions just around the corner, cutting down on transport time and costs. Our room featured essential amenities like a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and comfortable seating area, which enhanced our experience without veering into exorbitance. While the outside noise-particularly from rubbish collections-could be disruptive, it barely detracted from the overall value. With reasonable pricing for such amenities, I would consider revisiting, balancing cost with quality.
